Q Can my daughter listen to the stories more than once when I have downloaded them?
A Certainly. You get the sound file to keep together with the written story, so you can listen - and read - as often as you want.

Q Do I need to listen to the stories on my computer?
A You can listen to the stories on any device that will play an MP3 file. So that might be your MP3 player either through earphones or perhaps a docking station or your stereo, or you could transfer the file onto a CD and play it on a compatible CD player, or, of course on your computer.

Q What age group is your stories aimed at?
A They are ideal for ages 2 to 8, but 39 year olds have been known to go weak at the knees when Alg and Bun are mentioned, and they are loved by children of all ages.

Q I haven't heard of The Adventures of Algy and Bun before. Whose work is it, and will more adventures appear?
A The characters have been created and the stories written by Kim Hattin and performed by Kim Hattin and Christopher Grant, trading as Furry Tales. You may not have heard of them before, but you will definitely hear of them in the future. There will be an increasing number of stories, and they will be released at regular intervals.

Q Why do you use PayPal or Nochex to take payments?
A We use PayPal because they are so well respected in the area of financial transactions; they are very well known thanks to the exposure they have received as a result of their connection with Ebay, they are totally secure, and their simple, straightforward system means that purchases can be processed with a minimum of fuss. The same applies to Nochex, although they are perhaps less well known, but still with a exemplary record and well deserved reputation.

Q How long will the files take to download?
A The files are all between 3.5 MB and 7.5 MB in size, and how long they will take to download depends on the speed of your connection to the Internet. If you are on broadband, even on a fairly slow speed connection it will only take a few minutes. If on the other hand you are using a dial-up modem, you are probably not even reading this as the page takes 40 seconds to load, and the download would take an hour or two!

Q The sound is very quiet when I play it back over my laptop’s speakers. How can I improve it?
A Some laptops have sound systems that, even when turned up fully, play back sounds at a fairly low level. You should consider either attaching external amplified speakers to the computer, or copying the mp3 file to an MP3 player and listening through headphones or on a docking station.
